DOCUMENT DETAILS: Poem written by Ethel - 1890

The leaves are fresh and green

As joyous a sight as ever was seen

The birds sin soft and sweet

As the flowers bloom in the summer heat

Corn and cotton peeps forth on the hill

And violets grow by the dancing rill

On the roadside clover and wild oats

For something to Graze on I guess it is the goats
